If I could do anything, I’d be a coach for a professional sports team: It’s an ideal role to develop emerging professionals and creatively design/execute on team strategy.
During my VC search, several founders and investors were highly complementary of Redpoint’s team, and I was quickly able to see this differentiation for myself during my MBA summer internship. In particular, Redpoint has a uniquely strong team culture around celebrating each other’s successes in addition to thoughtful, investment discipline.
Despite growing up primarily in the D.C. area, I was fortunate to also travel to several countries around the world (including China, India, Ghana, & Ethiopia for 2 years). Those early childhood experiences still influence my appreciation for different perspectives and comfort in a completely new market context
While I can’t narrow down to one specific accomplishment, empowering others to be their best self is particularly fulfilling. Ranging from informal mentorship of co-workers to more formal efforts in business school such as leading the Black New Venture Competition at HBS to unlock more capital and resources for underrepresented founders.

What industry are you most excited to see evolve and why?
B2B fintech and data (vertical automation, APIs, data analytics platforms): I’m excited to see B2B fintech startups empowering developers with new tools to build a more seamless financial ecosystem; On the data side, I am intrigued by startups accelerating the modern tech stack's value proposition for technical and non-technical teams.
What is the best trip you’ve taken and why?
India: during college, I spent a month there with my dad, who was on a 3-year assignment with the World Bank. I thoroughly enjoyed the great food and culture (once I got over my jet lag of course!).
